1. Bulbs
Pick one white by Kelvin range (see color temperature) and add about five percent spares.

The 250 foot kit, for example, is listed with a 250 foot 12 inch spool, 250 C9 LED bulbs, 250 O clips, 100 stakes, and 10 each of male and female plugs.
Before you order
- Every part is in the same bulb size (C9 bulbs, C9 sockets, C9-compatible clips).
- Every bulb and mini strand is the same white, by Kelvin range.
- Plugs match the wire jacket (see SPT-1 vs SPT-2).
- Clip count equals socket count plus spares, split by surface type.
- One photocell timer per outlet that feeds lights.
